Hello Nature Chasers!!

We are now in week 8 of #ChasingNature. This week we have seen the weather start to change as we are seeing snow in the higher regions of the UK. I do believe we had some not far from me in the hills of the Brecon Beacons. I am sat under a quilt as I type this. My fingers are actually numb as the bedroom (My quiet place to work away from my children) is freezing cold!!

A kind reminder – Please make sure you add the #ChasingNature badge to your post so that others see you have linked up. We can’t chose you as a featured blogger without you having the badge. Thank you.

I have also started a Pinterest board for #ChasingNature where I will be adding every post linked up. Please find it and follow it here -> #ChasingNature

As some of my readers are aware, my partner, children and I all live in Wales and our closest relatives live over 3 hours away back in England. We currently have my parents and my in laws-to-be down. We have been wedding dress shopping and doing other exciting wedding bits. So I have been rather busy and haven’t actually put an outdoor themed post together. But this week I have decided to link up with a wonderful activity which encourages younger children to learn more about the weather. It is: How to make a weather wheel!

Weather Wheel

Tamsin (Chasing Esme) has chosen Conker Hunting by Somewhere After The Rainbow. We both loved this post. It is about a tree that a family have visited for several generations in the hunt for conkers.

I (Nature Mum Blog) have chosen Why a Pinterest Perfect Yard is Overrated: The Pit by Frogs-Snails-Geckotails. This post is brilliant as it shows why a messy garden is actually quite fun and important for children. Children to be able to explore their imagination and having the available space to do it is a wonderful thing. There really is nothing more exciting for a small child than to get their welly boots on, get some garden friendly toys and dig around in the mud!

This Link up will run from 6am Monday 21st November until 11pm Tuesday 22nd November.

I look forward to seeing all the posts which link up for week 8.

Happy Linking.
